Senior Data Scientist

Hiire is helping CEGID, a European leader in cloud business management, hire a Senior Data Scientist to advance the data science capabilities.

About the Role

CEGID seeks a Senior Data Scientist to develop machine learning models, focusing on building robust models that enhance decision-making processes and drive business intelligence.

You'll be working within the AI Factory dedicated to advancing CEGID's management software through AI innovation. The primary goal is to seamlessly integrate AI features into the product line, either by enhancing functionality and user experience or by recreating user workflows to take full advantage of AI technology.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models tailored for finance and accounting applications;




• Explore and develop generative AI models to address challenges and opportunities in the finance and accounting domain;




• Collaborate with finance and accounting experts, software engineers, and data engineers to integrate machine learning solutions into existing systems;




• Demonstrate an interest in and familiarity with MLOps tools and practices to streamline the deployment, monitoring, and management of machine learning models.

What We're Looking For

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline;




• Proven experience (4+ years) in developing and deploying machine learning models, preferably in the finance and accounting domain;




• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R, familiarity with MLOps tools and practices;




• Experience with generative AI models and/or NLP is a plus.
