About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Insurance Accountant to join an international and multicultural finance environment. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality insurance accounting data under multi‑standards (FGAAP and IFRS), supporting daily operations, and contributing to quarterly closings and cross‑functional financial projects.

You will be part of an Insurance Accounting team responsible for the accuracy, justification, and analysis of accounting data, working closely with reporting, IT, actuarial, and internal control teams.

Your Main Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations

• Analyse and justify accounts within your assigned perimeter.
• Prepare and document audit trails.
• Coordinate with contributors and stakeholders to gather required inputs.
• Perform analyses and present conclusions.
• Propose improvements and follow up on their implementation.

2. Quarterly Closing (Local GAAP & IFRS)

• Review data quality and completeness.
• Analyse and control various types of accounts.
• Support the preparation of Balance Sheet and Income Statement analyses.

3. Cross‑Functional Projects

• Contribute to operational initiatives and process improvements.
• Collaborate closely with finance reporting, IT, actuarial services, internal control, and other departments.
• Ensure that the needs of the accounting department are reflected in project discussions and implementations.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in a similar role (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of insurance accounting.
• Previous experience with IFRS standards, ideally IFRS 17 and IFRS 9.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, CODA).
• Strong command of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English (C1 mandatory); French B2.
