Senior Integration Analyst

As a Senior Integration Analyst at Equus Software, you will be crucial to the operation and growth of the Equus Ecosystem, a platform for connecting clients using Equus Software products with their service provider partners via API technology.  

In this exciting role, you will use your technical, analytical and communication skills to ensure the smooth onboarding of new providers to the Equus Ecosystem and will lead client connection projects by coordinating with internal stakeholders, service provider technical teams and our clients, who number among the world’s largest companies. 

We are looking for individuals with strong communication and organizational skills as well as an understanding of and experience with modern integration technologies, structured data formats, database schemas, field mapping, and interface troubleshooting techniques.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engage with external service provider (vendor) business and technical teams to introduce the technical aspects of the Ecosystem and answer questions about Equus’ integration options
• Demonstrate general business analysis and consulting skills (meeting with clients/vendors, clarifying needs, explaining options, suggesting solutions, documenting decisions, testing) when working on connection projects
• Work closely with internal and VAR client success teams to ensure that integration connection activities are successful
• Enable efficient project scheduling through by
• Reporting task and project status
• Estimating task and project durations
• Forecasting bandwidth and availability

• Build scripts and use tools that will enable data transformation between connected systems
• Ensure the quality of integration connections through testing and troubleshooting activities
• Serve as an Ecosystem subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders
• Build relationships with internal and external technical and operational teams to gain an understanding of application architectures, interfaces, tools and required functionality
• Balance the completion of support issues, including Sev1/Sev2 issues with longer term connection project work
• Lead problem determination and resolution efforts when Ecosystem technical issues are raised
• Utilize reporting, logging, and monitoring systems to provide proactive support of implemented connections
• Proactively identify aspects of our products or processes that can be improved and actively support efforts to make those improvements
• Maintain documentation of standards, common patterns and best practices for integration as Ecosystem process and system capabilities evolve
• Continually develop skills in the integration technologies in place, as well as staying informed on new developments in integration technology

• A minimum of 4 years of IT-related experience working on software development, implementation, or integration projects
• Two years of experience in a client support or other externally facing role
• Experience mapping data structures for system integrations
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or work streams
• Experience troubleshooting technical work products (identifying issues, checking logs, reviewing code, researching, performing fixes, documenting findings)
• Excellent communication, customer service and relationship building skills
• General understanding of Project Management principles
• Ability to clearly explain and document business processes
• Ability to communicate and build rapport with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business, information systems or other related field or equivalent experience

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in expatriate assignment management or global mobility
• Experience with web services, JSON and other integration concepts and technologies
• Familiarity with databases concepts and data transformation technologies
• Experience using Equus products
