About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Security Specialist to join a strategic project within the insurance sector.

This professional will provide guidance and support in the implementation of improvements and solutions across the Microsoft Security ecosystem, including Endpoint Security, Office 365 (SaaS) Security, and Azure Security.

The role involves leveraging the Microsoft Defender portfolio to strengthen and enhance the organization’s overall cybersecurity posture while acting as a trusted advisor for cloud and SaaS security environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and improve Microsoft security posture across endpoints, identities, applications, and cloud workloads
• Implement, configure, and optimize Microsoft Defender modules
• Recommend and apply security best practices aligned with Microsoft standards and frameworks
• Support the implementation of security improvements across Microsoft Office 365 and Azure environments
• Provide consultancy and advisory services regarding cloud and SaaS security strategies
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure secure and compliant solutions
• Contribute to continuous security monitoring and incident prevention initiatives

Requirements

Must Have

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Security stack
• 5+ years of experience as a Security Consultant
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Defender
  • Microsoft Office 365 Security (SaaS)
  • Microsoft Azure Security
• Experience implementing and managing Microsoft security solutions
• Microsoft Security certifications such as:
  • SC-100
  • AZ-500
• Fluent Portuguese
• English level B1 or higher

Nice to Have

• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure
• Additional Microsoft Security certifications:
  • SC-200
  • SC-300
  • SC-400
  • MS-500
• Microsoft Identity certifications:
  • MS-100
  • MS-101
• Microsoft Cloud certifications:
  • AZ-104
  • AZ-300
  • AZ-301
• Industry-recognized certifications:
  • CCSP
  • CCSK
  • CISSP
• Client-facing experience and strong stakeholder management skills

Work Model

• Hybrid regime
• 3 days per week on-site in Lisbon
• Monday to Friday
• Working hours between 09:00 AM and 06:00 PM
• Standby duty: two weeks per month, ideally starting one month after onboarding
