Senior Order-to-Cash Specialist, French & English

Join a global finance operations team supporting a leader in medical technology as a Senior Order-to-Cash Specialist. You will lead and oversee the end-to-end Order-to-Cash cycle, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance and timely collections. The role involves managing complex financial processes, resolving escalated disputes, developing collection strategies and driving continuous improvement to optimize working capital and support business growth. You will also mentor junior colleagues and work with global stakeholders.

Key points

• Languages: French and English (advanced, C1 level)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00, with weekends off
• Compensation: Monthly gross salary, plus a complexity bonus and a meal allowance paid over 11 months

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end O2C operations, including order management, billing, accounts receivable, collections, cash application and dispute resolution
• Prepare and review AR aging reports, implement collection strategies and drive initiatives to reduce days sales outstanding
• Manage relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, resolve escalated disputes and negotiate payment terms when necessary
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements, internal controls, accounting standards and relevant tax regulations
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and standardization across O2C operations
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing, account reconciliations and financial reporting for senior management
• Train, mentor and support junior O2C specialists
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Logistics, Treasury and Tax
• Monitor process performance, identify operational risks and recommend solutions to improve accuracy, efficiency and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• In-depth knowledge of O2C processes, financial controls and compliance frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Workday
• Experience in global business environments and with multi-currency transactions
• Proven leadership, team management and mentoring capabilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills
• Strong command of French, spoken and written, and advanced English (C1)
