Shop Manager (m/f/d)

To ensure our continued success in Portugal, we are looking for motivated and driven Shop Manager (m/f/d) for our point of sale at the Lisbon Oriente bus station as soon as possible. You will be responsible for the operations of the point of sale, as well as our activities at the FlixBus bus station. This role reports to Head of Shops and Stations Europe West.

About the Role

• Team Supervision: lead the field team with the support of team leaders. Provide guidance and ensure goals are achieved


• Motivation & Coaching: keep the team motivated through regular feedback and support for individual performance


• Service Quality: guarantee excellent reception, sales, and customer service processes at the station


• Continuous Improvement: monitor operations and suggest ways to improve organization and efficiency


• Reporting: share regular updates on shop and station performance with the relevant teams


• Incident Management: act quickly in crisis situations, making effective decisions to minimize business impact


• Scheduling & Coverage: optimize schedules, ensuring resources are always available. Step in when leaders or agents are absent


• Onboarding & Training: support smooth integration of new hires and provide ongoing training for the team
  

About You

• 3+ years of professional experience, already managed a team; preferably within customer service/retail/operations/transportation sectors


• Excellent coordination and communication skills: you ensure that each team member acts together in the company's best interests


• Organized, responsive, and attentive: team management and sales organization hold no secrets for you. You maintain an overview and ensure everything runs smoothly.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel


• Fluent level of both Portuguese and English; fluency in other languages is a plus.
  


• Flexible availability from Monday to Sunday, shift-based
