As our Social Media Specialist within the EMEA Digital Hub, you will develop and execute social media strategies that strengthen Foundever's employer brand across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Create engaging content, manage content calendars, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support recruitment and employer branding initiatives. Leveraging AI tools and data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, increase audience engagement, and help attract top talent across the region. 

As a Social Media Specialist, your daily responsibilities will include

• Deliver our social media content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and emerging platforms.


• Build and manage monthly content calendars aligned with recruitment priorities, seasonal campaigns and employer branding initiatives.


• Create engaging photo and video content featuring our associates, offices, community partners and events.


• Plan, coordinate and support content recording sessions across multiple locations.


• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Operations and local stakeholders to identify storytelling opportunities.


• Co-create recruitment campaigns alongside our Digital Marketing Specialists to support lead generation and hiring goals.


• Collaborate with designers and carefully deliver design requests briefings.


• Write compelling captions and copy for both organic and paid social content.


• Schedule and publish content using social media management platforms and native tools.


• Set up, schedule and optimize boosted posts, ensuring the correct audience targeting, budgets and campaign objectives.


• Monitor comments, messages and community conversations, ensuring timely engagement and escalation where needed.


• Develop user-generated content initiatives and employee advocacy programs to increase associate engagement.


• Build relationships with creators, NGOs, universities and community partners to develop collaborative content opportunities.


• Stay on top of social media trends, platform updates and competitor activity, turning insights into new content ideas.


• Track content performance and engagement, identifying opportunities for optimization.


• Produce monthly reports that go beyond the numbers—explaining what happened, why and what to do next.


• Share learnings, creative ideas and best practices across the EMEA Digital Hub.


• Use AI tools to improve content creation, ideation, planning and productivity. 

To succeed in the role, you will need to have

• Fluent in Portuguese & English, written and spoken.


• Creative, curious and always looking for the next trend or content opportunity.


• Passionate about social media and digital culture.


• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.


• Comfortable filming people and creating content with a mobile phone.


• Proactive—you spot opportunities and act without being asked.


• Highly organized, able to manage multiple content calendars and deadlines simultaneously.


• Strong communicator who enjoys building relationships across different teams and cultures.


• Data-driven—you enjoy understanding what performs well and continuously improving your work.


• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with an international team.


• Curious, eager to learn and excited to use AI as part of your daily workflow. 


• Be a local candidate and available to work hybrid model from our site in Santos, Lisbon - mandatory.


• Availability to work from 9am to 6pm.

Education and experience

• Ideally higher or university education.


• 2+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing or Employer Branding, or significant personal experience building and growing engaged social media communities.


• Experience managing social media channels for brands or organisations.


• Experience creating short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).


• Experience using social media scheduling and management platforms.


• Experience with basic paid social activities, including boosting posts and campaign setup, is considered an advantage.
