Tableau Developer

Overview:

One of the biggest banks in the European Union is seeking a Tableau Developer to join the team that is responsible for providing data, insights, and analysis to Global Markets front office.

What will you do?

• Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.


• Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with business requirements    


• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.


• Work with large datasets, perform data cleansing, and optimize data queries for performance.


• Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that meet their objectives.


• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on how to effectively use Tableau dashboards.


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Tableau dashboards and reports.


• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of existing dashboards.


• Maintain detailed documentation of all dashboards, reports, and data sources.


• Keep up to date with the latest Tableau features and best practices.

What are we looking for?

• Professional experience as a Tableau Developer (minimum 2 years).


• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.


• Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.


• Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of data structures and business logic.


• Excellent communication skills to effectively present insights to stakeholders.


• Data Engineering & ETL: Strong SQL skills with experience in database management (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ETL processes.


• Programming & Optimization: Professional experience with Python (primarily Pandas) and the optimization of data processes (efficient queries and memory management).


• DevOps & Visualization: Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins) and familiarity with other visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI).


• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of and interest in financial markets.


• Fluent in English.
