We are looking for a Team Leader to provide disciplinary leadership for our Tariff/Customs Classification team. In this role, you will be accountable for people leadership, performance management, stakeholder/client relationship management and for project delivery.

Your focus will be on empowering employees, fostering team culture, and ensuring smooth collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Your Role:

As a Tariff Classification Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise and leadership will help the team navigate classification of goods for tariff/customs purposes.

Your Impact:

• Manage and develop a team performing tariff classification of Bosch product portfolio, from raw materials to components to finished goods, production parts as well as spare parts according to the national tariff schemes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and manage international stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and HR guidelines. Acting as a communication bridge between employees and senior leadership.
• Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions in entities in multiple countries therefore fluent communication in English is expected.
• Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving foreign trade regulations, particularly on tariff classification in many jurisdictions.

• Min. 5 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.
• Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff classification.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in a team leader, people manager, or HR-related role.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust.
• Experience in managing diverse teams.
• Solid understanding of HR processes (performance management, conflict resolution,
• coaching, development).
• Empathy, resilience, and the ability to balance employee needs with organizational priorities.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.
