We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join an international team working with a leading client in the cyber security domain, based in Luxembourg.
The team gathers 3\-4 days a week at the office in Lisbon.
Responsibilities:
During the analysis phase:
⢠Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, understand, and analyze functional requirements.
⢠Translate business needs into robust and efficient IT solutions in collaboration with development teams and solution architects.
⢠Produce clear, structured functional documentation to support development and testing activities.
⢠Define and document test scenarios to ensure solutions meet business and technical expectations.
During the delivery phase:
⢠Configure and implement solutions on a core banking platform using a proprietary scripting language derived from PL/SQL.
⢠Develop and maintain automated test scenarios using behavior\-driven testing frameworks when applicable.
⢠Perform unit testing and functional acceptance testing, combining automated and manual approaches.
⢠Actively contribute to quality assurance by validating delivered functionality against requirements.
Requirements:
⢠Solid technical background and a strong interest in combining technology with financial services.
⢠Experience in software development using any programming language; knowledge of PL/SQL is an advantage.
⢠Familiarity with code review practices, both as a reviewer and a contributor.
⢠Experience with unit and integration testing, either manual or automated.
⢠Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
⢠Hands\-on experience with Eclipse or comparable development environments.
⢠Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
⢠Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
⢠Exposure to BDD frameworks (e.g., Gherkin/Cucumber) is a plus, but not required.
⢠Strong analytical thinking and problem\-solving abilities.
⢠Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross\-functional teams.
⢠Proactive, flexible, and eager to continuously learn and improve.
⢠Strong interest in technology and its use in complex, regulated environments.
⢠Previous exposure to banking systems or financial services is beneficial, but not mandatory.
⢠Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Portuguese and/or French is an asset.
