Travel & Expenses Analyst

TBSS (Thales Business Support Services) acts as a shared service centre for a number of Thales countries for various key tasks associated to finance, reconciliation, procurement and supply chain.

We are recruiting for a role within TBSS based in Lisbon. The opportunity for a P2P Invoices & Expenses Team Member is as a result of continued growth for TBSS being forecasted. This role will provide services in our Procurement to Pay: supplier invoice processing and staff expenses processing team. This position offers the opportunity to develop and enhance your existing skills while learning new ones within a shared services environment.

As a Travel and Expenses Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of employee travel and expenses within our organization:

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and processing of expenses manually (Expenses follow up, Expenses payment release, Urgent Manual payments);

• Checking and validation of employee ́s expenses claims in line with the Travel & Expenses policy and strict deadlines across multi-Thales operating companies;

• Analyse Staff Expenses claims and carry out compliance checks;

• Maintain prepayments and debit balances at an acceptable level;

• Manage employee ́s and other end-users expenses related queries via email and ticketing system;

• T&E Reporting;

• Corporate cards statement management and reconciliation;

• Month-end accounting activities;

• Support audit requests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting, Business Administration or similar;

• Experience in the Accounting field, preferably in T&E related tasks;

• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy;

• Proficient in using travel booking platforms and expense management software (SAP, Oracle, Concur);

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;

• Fluent English and Portuguese, both written and verbal;

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
