Working remotely from anywhere in Portugal, you will act as a vital communication bridge for major healthcare systems, legal organizations, government agencies, and global enterprises. Key Responsibilities: Live Interpretation & Cultural Mediation

Working virtually, you will conduct high-level Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) and Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) sessions, ensuring technical accuracy and cultural context are fully preserved:

• Real-Time Translation: Provide fluid, live oral interpretation during critical conversations, including emergency medical encounters, court proceedings, and crisis calls.
• Specialized Terminology: Effortlessly apply complex, sector-specific terminology across medical, legal, financial, and public safety domains in real time.
• Integrity & Neutrality: Adhere to strict privacy standards, data security protocols, and complete impartiality in full accordance with international laws.
• Cultural Nuance: Swiftly identify and bridge subtle cultural gaps to ensure precise, clear communication between all parties.
• Platform Management: Use a secure, specialized cloud tool to schedule your availability and maintain an efficient digital workflow.

We are searching for tech-literate specialists who combine sharp analytical focus with exceptional dual-language proficiency.

Requirements

• Language Mastery: Fully fluent or certified C2-level proficiency in both Ukrainian and English, including a deep grasp of technical terminology, colloquialisms, and regional idioms.
• Work Authorization: Must possess EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese Residence Permit (Título de Residência).
• Cognitive Ability: Superior active listening skills and strong short-term memory to process and deliver complex information on the spot.
• Composure Under Pressure: The emotional resilience to remain composed, neutral, and professional during tense or emotionally charged interactions.
• Remote Workspace: A quiet, private home office free of background noise, paired with a reliable fiber-optic internet connection (at least 20 Mbps upload and download speeds).
