Your new company Elementis is a global speciality chemicals company, with over 1,300 employees working at 23 locations across the globe. They create high-value speciality additives that enhance the performance of their customers’ products and make a positive change in the world. Elementis is establishing a new office and modern laboratory in Porto, Portugal. They offer exciting roles in Research & Development, Human Resources, Finance, Logistics, Customer Service, Regulatory/Product Stewardship, Sales & Marketing, providing a diverse range of opportunities to grow and make an impact. Most of the roles are regional or global. The Global Logistics Manager establishes and executes projects under the Logistics Management Program to meet supply chain performance and the associated financial goals. It also manages the Global Logistics Visibility tool and supports the regional supply chain management team to implement all logistics activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and distribution of company products and materials.
Your new role

Manages Complexity : Ability to define problems effectively, navigate and manage the complexity of Workday configuration and customization. Develops and implements solutions that simplify intricate HR processes within Workday.
Communicate Effectively : Excellent communicator (written and verbal), able to communicate complex processes, problems and solutions in a simple, compelling and accurate manner.
Drive Results : Sets high standards for system performance and consistently strives to achieve and exceed them. Proactively addresses system issues and implements solutions in a timely manner. Ability to manage multiple, often competing project workloads effectively
Optimizes Work Processes : Take initiatives in identifying opportunities to streamline HR processes through system optimization. Regularly assesses and refines work processes, drive continuous improvement to maximize efficiency and user satisfaction
Responsabilities
System Administration: Oversee the administration of the Workday system, including configuration, security, and user access management. Lead the implementation of releases and upgrades . Administer routine cadence such as performance management and merit increase cycle.
Customization and Development: Evaluate functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday. Perform configuration, testing and documentation. Lead the development and customization to streamline HR processes and enhance system efficiency
Data Management: Establish and maintain data quality standards, perform data audits, and manage data migration, ensuring data integrity and accuracy within Workday
User Support: Provide expert-level user support, troubleshooting issues, assist users in effectively utilizing Workday functionalities , and develop and deliver user training
Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain HR reports and dashboards, meeting evolving data and reporting needs
Change Management: Lead change management initiatives related to Workday enhancements and updates, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption
What you’ll need to succeed
This position will have an hybrid regime with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Whilst this role will be based at the Porto Hub, there will be occasions where you may be required to travel to other Elementis sites.
