Product & Technology

Role Overview

Reporting to the VP of Development, you will be leading a team in the Processing space that is responsible for the merchant funding, invoices, and statements of a high-volume payments Back Office system.

What you will do:

• Lead the technical development and deliveries of a global payments Back Office solution.

• Team leader for other developers working on the same area in Galway.

• Analyze, design, and develop architecture, framework, and solutions.

• Work with agile development and deliveries across the team.

• Hands-on development and framework design.

• Stakeholder management and status updates.

• You will ensure that the development team delivers high-quality solutions within defined timelines.

Who you are:

• You have 10+ years’ development experience in .NET.

• You have a deep understanding of payments back-office processes. You are the go to person when it’s time to explain how clearing and settlement works.

• You deeply understand design patterns and architectural patterns and can explain them in simple terms.

• You can code solutions for high volume systems, parse and ingest huge files within a minute timeframe.

• You love coaching others and spending time helping them improve their technical skills.

• You can deliver feedback using clean and emotionally safe language.

• You have a growth mind-set while exemplifying and promoting agile values and principles.

• Ability to think, analyze and think quickly.

• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.

• You have experience in delivering software development through an agile delivery model, preferable SAFe and Scrum.

• Passion for detail: Must have proven ability to architect and drive through change in a fast-growing company.

• Solid team Player: To be able to work with diverse teams in many locations.

• Outstanding communication & presentation skills; Must be able to communicate with non-IT specialists.

• Time Management: Must have proven time management skills and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.

• Decision maker: Willing to take responsibility and able to make sound decisions.
