Account Payable Intern

Essity is a Global Hygiene and Health company that develops, produces, and sells Personal Care, Consumer Tissue, and Professional Hygiene products and we are currently looking for an Intern who will join our Accounts Payable Team in Lisbon working with the Europe North market.

​About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join the Sourcing Admin Services team based in Lisbon. As part of the Sourcing Services group, you will support sourcing and administrative processes across several European countries. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and international procurement environment. You will be part of a team of 10 people covering Great Britain, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Dubai. The entire team is based in Lisbon, which ensures close collaboration and daily interaction.

What You Will Do

• You will learn how to manage invoice management activities through the InvoiceTrack system.

• You will develop your task prioritizing capabilities to assist in maintaining sourcing documentation, supplier records and project documentations.

• You will develop your skills to communicate with key stakeholders, including suppliers, buyers, and the accounting team.

• You will apply analytical skills to contribute to process improvements and support data entry/validation

• You will have contact with multiple markets, cultures and languages, translate and verify documents using automated tools.

• You will develop your self-leadership capabilities and attend team meetings, preparing meeting minutes and action summaries.

Who You Are

• You are a student/new graduate in Economics or a related discipline

• You have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills and proactive manages your priorities.

• You have an analytical mindset and a problem-solving attitude

• You have a natural customer-oriented attitude, and you love to find solutions and solve problems.

• You manage well the Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.

• You have excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.

• You can communicate efficiently in English, both spoken and written (fluency in an additional language will be considered a plus).
