Finance & Management Control Trainee

Via Verde is looking for a talented Finance & Management Control Trainee to join our Finance and Management Control team!

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the Management Control team in financial analysis, reporting and planning processes


• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, forecasts and KPIs


• Help analyze financial information and explain simple business drivers with clarity and logic


• Support the preparation of management reports and presentations for internal stakeholders


• Work closely with different business areas to understand operational performance and financial impacts


• Contribute to the identification of deviations, risks and improvement opportunities


• Develop technical and business knowledge with the objective of evolving into a business partnering role


• Ensure accuracy, organization and attention to detail in all assigned tasks

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Management, Economics or a similar field


• Good knowledge of Excel


• Basic understanding of financial analysis, budgeting and KPIs


• Strong analytical capability and logical reasoning


• Rigor, attention to detail and strong organizational skills


• Clear communication skills and ability to explain reasoning in a structured way


• Proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn
