We seek to recruit, in Vila Nova de Famalicão (Portugal) to our Film Capacitors Plant:

Chemical or Materials Engineering Trainee (m/f)

Tasks:

•  Assist in conducting laboratory tests on chemical materials and other types of materials;

• Participate in the physical, chemical, and mechanical characterization of materials used in film capacitors;

• Support the development of new products, materials, and processes, following internal R&D procedures;

• Collaborate in the statistical analysis of data from tests and measurements;

• Assist in the interpretation of results and the preparation of technical reports;

• Support the introduction of new chemical materials and other types of materials, as needed;

• Contribute to technical documentation and the organization of product and process knowledge.

Requirements:

• Degree in chemical or materials engineering;

• Good knowledge of Portuguese and English, spoken and written is mandatory;

• Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit;

• Analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Initiative, proactivity and dynamism;

• Eligible for an IEFP professional internship.
