What you will be doing
Inter-company Reconciliation & Reporting
- Assist in performing monthly reconciliations of inter-company accounts, helping to identify and document discrepancies for review by the team.
- Provide support identifying the balances to be settled.
- Learn to prepare basic reports on inter-company balances and reconciliation status.
Transaction Processing & Documentation
- Assist with the preparation and processing of inter-company invoices, ensuring data accuracy under the guidance of senior team members.
- Help prepare and post basic inter-company journal entries, ensuring they are supported by proper documentation.
- Gather documentation that supports the inter-company transactions.
Team Collaboration & Support
- Help gather the information and documentation needed by the team to resolve inter-company discrepancies and disputes.
- Participate in team meetings to gain an understanding of ongoing projects and challenges.
Month-End & Administrative Support
- Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing basic journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Provide general support for ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
What we are looking for
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Good understanding of Accounting principles
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formulas)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
