Position Overview  

The Sourcing Intern responsibility includes supporting the implementation of the RTP process within the organization in close collaboration with cross-functional team to ensure successful deployment.  Data analysis and mapping to facilitate the integration of various systems and data sources involved, legacy systems in the RTP process, such as ERP, procurement platforms, and financial systems. Will report to a more senior member of the RTP team.
 

Primary Responsibilities  

30%- 60% Sourcing Support
20%-100% Transactional – System Work

Responsibilities could include the following in support of 1-3 Sourcing Managers
• Transactional: Updating Pricing, Invoice Resolution, System Support
• Sourcing Support: First line of contact with Plants and Suppliers to resolve payment issues, Assistance with Request for Quotes, Bid Analysis, Volume Tracking for Rebates and against contracts for compliance with business commitments.
• Additionally: Comply with Sourcing’s best practices, policies, and procedures. Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner. Manage minimum and maximum order quantities and total volumes.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Degree or related Associate’s Degree. No previous work experience require
• Strong desire and innate capability to learn.
• Skills: strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills .

Preferred Requirements

• Associates Degree or greater

• Experience working with systems

• Good skills with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Experience with ERP systems
