Verisure Internship Programme Portugal

Verisure is seeking talented, innovative and passionate interns to join our growing and successful company on an excellent career program. 

The successful candidate will be able to join an ever-growing company with a great opportunity to develop into one of our key permanent roles. You could be part of one of our excellent business teams joining our Shared Services Centre Team, with colleagues in Sweden, Ireland, France, Madrid, and more. The role will report to the SSC P2P Team Leader and will be based in Lisbon.

Location 

Most of our positions will be based in Lisbon (Portugal) with some European travel expected.

Candidate profile 

Responsibilities will include, among others:  

• Support P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, assure communication to and from all  

• Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders  

• Support reviewing and assuring proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs  

• Assist the manager and peers on the daily activity  

• Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as   

• Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation  

Requirements 

We see these roles as an important part of our development plans. We’re looking for the next generation of business leaders. These are some of the main requirements to join one of our internship opportunities: 

• Excellent written and spoken English. We are an international company and all our positions whether these are internships or permanent require a high level of both English. Portuguese is a plus. 

• Ideally you will be able to join us Immediately; however, we will assess each application and your availability on a case by case basis. 

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 

• Great communication skills. 

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (preferred good Excel, Word and Power Point). 

• Ability to prioritise and multi-task. 

• Willingness to learn and to progress in a company with great opportunities and potential. 

• Enjoys working with a variety of IT systems  as wells as Interest in working in a fast-paced international environment.  

Qualifications and knowledge 

• Last year students and/or recent University graduates with degrees such as Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics etc. We are seeking individuals with a passion for innovation and willing to challenge themselves.
