Northern Health are seeking applications from an enthusiastic, hard-working and collegial Neurophysiology (EEG) Scientist to join the Neurology team.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our six main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital.  In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

About the Role:

The role involves recording and reviewing EEGs from outpatients and inpatients, adults and children, predominantly people with epilepsies and related conditions.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven ability to be empathic and put the needs of our patients first


• Ability to work in friendly and personable way in a busy clinical team


• An enquiring mind, enthusiasm for learning and a good work ethic


• Computer literacy (rocket science level not required)


• Prior experience of EEG
