To supervise, coordinate, and ensure the safe and timely execution of structural integration and hook-up activities during the RUYA project offshore execution phase. This includes preparation, monitoring, and reporting of all related construction and pre-commissioning activities in compliance with company standards and international best practices.
Complete all mandatory safety trainings (e.g., IF+, HSE Golden Rules, T-BOSIET, H2S).
Promote a safety-first culture by complying with project HSE policies and international standards.
Lead or participate in Toolbox Talks (TBTs) and risk assessments.
Proactively identify unsafe acts or conditions and initiate Stop Work Authority when needed.
Ensure all offshore activities are performed safely, especially under SIMOPS conditions.
Contribute to achieving HSE KPIs set by project management.
Coordinate and follow up on all structural works related to integration and hook-up activities.
Supervise contractor’s structural works including fabrication, installation, and pre-commissioning.
Ensure timely completion of activities and smooth handover to commissioning teams.
Liaise with contractors/subcontractors and monitor progress, resource mobilization, and technical issues.
Prepare and validate work permits and ensure all supporting HSE and technical documentation is in place.
Attend technical meetings, kickoff meetings, SIMOPS reviews, and pre-job meetings.
Monitor delivery and on-site inspection of structural materials and equipment.
Ensure quality control, traceability, and compliance with approved shop drawings and project specifications.
Support design reviews for constructability and provide feedback to engineering.
Participate in preparation and resolution of technical queries with engineering as needed.
Ensure proper management and close-out of as-built dossiers (RLMU).
Provide input for daily and weekly construction progress reports, KPIs, and site updates.
Contribute to project close-out, including lessons learned and performance assessments.
Experience: Minimum 10 years in offshore oil & gas industry, including hook-up and integration projects.
Construction Background: Strong knowledge of offshore construction, brownfield activities, and SIMOPS management.
Project Delivery: Experience supervising EPC contractors in offshore environments.
Certifications: Valid H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET certifications.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as AWS, API, ISO.
Software: Proficient with MS Office and general IT tools.
Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Region Experience: Qatar or Middle East project experience is preferred.
