Traffic CAD Operator

• Develop and prepare detailed traffic control plans, barricade layouts, and traffic diversion schemes for road construction and maintenance projects.
  
• Create shop drawings for traffic signal systems, signage, and road layouts.
  
• Draft and update traffic control system layouts, including signals, signs, and pavement markings.
  
• Generate and revise road planning and traffic violation analysis drawings based on project requirements.
  
• Work closely with engineers and planners to produce accurate CAD drawings for submittals and approvals.
  
• Support the design of temporary traffic management and detour plans during construction phases.
  
• Interpret civil and traffic engineering concepts into detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software.
  
• Maintain an organized archive of project drawings, ensuring version control and compliance with company standards.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CAD Operator, specifically in traffic and transportation projects.
  
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related discipline.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is an advantage); experience with other CAD platforms is a plus.
  
• Strong knowledge of traffic engineering standards and signage regulations.
  
• Familiarity with traffic safety regulations and work zone guidelines.
