Accountant

Job Description:

As an Accountant at Qatargas Operating Company Limited, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of financial records, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will work closely with the finance team to support various financial activities and provide accurate and timely financial information. Your role will also involve assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations based on findings - Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies - Support month-end and year-end close processes - Assist with audits and internal controls - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results - Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 2 years of experience in accounting or finance - CPA or equivalent certification preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Energetic and creative with strong problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
