Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

Qatar Steel Company is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to join our team in Doha. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are energetic, hardworking, and looking to kickstart their career in finance. As a key member of the accounting team, the Accounts Receivable role will be responsible for handling all aspects of the company's receivables process.

Responsibilities: - Process incoming payments and post them to the appropriate accounts - Generate and send out invoices to customers - Follow up on overdue accounts and make collection calls as needed - Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare monthly reports on accounts receivable status - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs - Prior internship or work experience in accounting is a plus
