Job Description - Cargo Officer

Welcomes clients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
Ensures that all contacts with clients (e-mail, walk-In center, SMS or phone) provides the client with a personalized – customer service experience of the highest level
Represent the cargo services as the focal point for all activities and queries from customers
Ensure that notifications are sent officially on cargo arrival information, to Freight forwarders/agents to ensure the cargo does not stay under airlines custody for long periods, and to avoid damages and maximize space availability at the warehouse
Interpret and follow the safety and security measures
Coordination with the Senior Cargo Officer and the management about handling discrepancies at stations and in all administrative issues related to stations
Perform housekeeping operations and stock control of warehouse cargos and items
Prepare documentations for total number of outgoing cargos
Prepare master Air Waybills (AWB) before dispatching cargo for loading on board aircraft
Responsible for packing goods for transportation
Responsible for crafting goods for transportation
Responsible for wrapping goods for transportation
Freight consolidation
In charge of trade document preparation
Responsible for storing goods prior to and after freight
