Senior Consultant (Business Architecture)

Job Description Business Architecture Overview: Guide clients through establishing their Business Architecture and build new high-level business architecture including architectures for business processes, services, policies, stakeholders, strategies, and performance indicators. Help clients align their business goals with technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration to achieve performance, security, and scalability objectives. Responsibilities

• Document, review, update, and publish technical and business architecture components in the repository according to standard procedures.
• Develop and update future business architecture components, conduct gap analysis, and design transition maps for future states.
• Study and understand reference models and descriptive models of business architecture.
• Support, gather, and document data on business components (services, processes, policies, structure, stakeholders, strategies, indicators).
• Review business component data with business stakeholders.
• Support and review the process of inputting business data into the enterprise architecture tool.
• Review business architecture components in the enterprise architecture repository.
• Document and review components of future business architecture.
• Collaborate with client teams to develop architecture principles and domain-specific principles supporting business strategy and projects implementation.
• Guide domain specialists to align their work with overall business and enterprise architecture.
• Develop conceptual/logical architectures for business processes, services, and policies.
• Understand and apply Enterprise Architecture (EA) foundational principles, ADM, and Architecture Continuum.
• Model architecture layers and demonstrate expertise in business process modelling (using BPMN, UML).
• Manage enterprise architecture tools such as iServer, Sparx EA, or Aris.
• Develop the organization’s methods and frameworks related to business architecture and train/coach team members on their application.
• Understand and develop target operating models covering people, processes, and tools.
• Analyse information on the client’s current challenges and propose improvements/recommend changes to the operating model.
• Articulate the functions and capabilities (in-house or outsourced) needed for various business domains to operate successfully and support business outcomes.

• Native Arabic, with excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Proven hands-on experience in at least one enterprise architecture tool (experience with iServer is a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
• Leadership and team-playing abilities.
• Proficiency in project and program management disciplines, including producing project plans and key quality program deliverables.
• Consulting experience is preferred.
• Strong administrative and numeracy skills with the ability to analyze complex data with attention to detail.
• Expertise in MS Office applications, especially Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet client deadlines and firm needs.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel if required.

• 5+ years of experience in Business Architecture or related field.
• Graduate degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred.
• TOGAF Certification is a must.
• Relevant certifications / training such as CBAP, CPOS, BPMN, , Zachman, Lean, Six Sigma, etc., would be a plus.
• Knowledge of Qatar Government Enterprise Architecture (GEA) is a plus.
• Location: Doha, Qatar.
