Job Description - Senior Manager Talent Acquisition

About the Role

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Talent Acquisition team as Senior Manager Talent Acquisition (Systems & Operations). This role is accountable for process design, governance, and continuous improvement while ensuring operational control and compliance through effective stakeholder management and accurate reporting and analysis. The role also ensures recruitment systems are optimised (working in conjunction with HRIS & IT), recruitment change projects are delivered and operational support is appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and oversee the Recruitment Operations involving Interview Logistics, Offer Processing, Systems & Tools and Onboarding.
  • Provide expert level input and guidance to ensure the Global Recruitment Team can deliver its commitments effectively. This will include best practice in process design, data management and analysis, project management and continuous improvement.
  • Support the implementation of Qatar Airways Group recruitment process and operating model, including influencing key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to adopt the processes, tools and behaviors
  • Partner with the Recruitment Team and other HR team members to drive continuous improvement in the quality, speed and cost of hiring
  • Provide continuous improvement of policies, processes and tools in both functional and customer performance by using data analysis to define improvement opportunities and by overseeing their delivery.
  • Design and drive resolutions for process and system issues
  • Implement process improvements as agreed by the VP Recruitment and any Executive Steering Committee’s that have been convened to support the Recruitment Roadmap or Programme
  • Be the recruitment lead for all issues and innovations relating to the global recruitment tools (GEMS and/or any future ATS product), liaising with the Recruitment Team, HR Employee Services teams, HRIS, IT and suppliers as required
  • Lead the design, support and maintenance of all local recruitment-related tools (e.g. Future CRM & Assessment tools)
  • Responsible for data control of reports created
  • Develop dynamic recruitment, forecasting and budgeting tools and dashboards (in conjunction with the businesses, HR and finance teams) to allow the business to manage and be challenged on their historical, current and future budget and FTE requirements
  • Manage the centralised recruitment recharging process, partnering with finance to design and implement the correct model and aligning it with the recruitment budget
  • Monitor the recruitment budget and spend on a monthly basis and ensure that the department spend is within budget, highlighting any concerns to the Manager Recruitment Delivery responsible for that area, Senior Manager Recruitment Delivery or VP Recruitment

Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our Talent Acquisition Team who can recognize themselves in the points below.

  • Minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is essential with at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a leadership role in a direct Recruitment model within a major corporate organisation managing recruitment operations, systems and strategy is required.
  • Previous experience of designing and implementing ATS & CRM Recruitment systems is required.
  • Should be a proven leader of projects and transformation initiatives: will have initiated and overseen the delivery of change projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Should have ability to positively influence at all levels of an organisation up to VP & C level, and to develop valued relationships with Senior Executives and cross functional stakeholders
  • Should have experience managing local, remote and supplier teams
  • Should be highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify trends and drive actions.
  • Prefer candidates with LEAN Sigma qualification /practice
  • Candidates with Project / Programme management qualification and/or practice will be given preference.
