Sr Trading & Marketing Regulations Officer

Scope

• Provide regulatory support to QatarEnergy and its HQ-based subsidiaries (“QatarEnergy“) (including QatarEnergy Trading, QatarEnergy LNG Marketing and QatarEnergy Marketing and Trading), where such support is in connection with the laws, regulations and exchange rules of specific application to the products being traded or marketed (“Trading & Marketing Regulations”)
• The preparation and review of internal policies & procedures and the implementation of internal processes (including reporting measures) to ensure compliance with Trading & Marketing Regulations

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in legal, compliance, governance, audit or internal control functions, ideally in an energy trading environment.
• Proven people skills and experience of working in high pressure situations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 suite of applications. Knowledge of industry technological tools is attractive

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Studies, Law or equivalent, from an internationally recognized university
