Job Description - Training Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Training Consultant with a strong background in quick-serving restaurants to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our restaurant staff. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our employees deliver exceptional customer service and maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development:
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of quick-serving restaurant staff, including new hire orientation, customer service, food safety, and operational procedures.
  • Create training materials such as manuals, e-learning modules, and hands-on activities.
  • Training Delivery:
  • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for restaurant staff at various locations.
  • Utilize a variety of training methods including in-person instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching.
  • Evaluation and Improvement:
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, testing, and performance metrics.
  • Continuously improve training content and methods based on feedback and industry best practices.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with restaurant managers and corporate leadership to identify training needs and develop solutions.
  • Coordinate with the HR department to ensure alignment with company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed records of training activities, attendance, and progress.
  • Prepare regular reports on training outcomes and provide recommendations for future training initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training and development, specifically within the quick-serving restaurant industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing training programs for restaurant staff.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Proficiency with e-learning software and training platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
