Candidate Profile Expected qualifications :

• Master in Environmental Engineering or Marine Biology or Chemical Engineering

Technical skills :

• Ideally 1-3 years of experience in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Marine Biology
• Strong technical background in either of fields: Marine Environment, Sustainable Development, Carbon Footprint Reduction.
• Knowledge in Marine Operations HSE (optional)
• Knowledge in Oil and Gas industry or experience in Middle East projects is a plus
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multicultural environement

Computing skills :

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools (Mandatory)
• Big Data Compilation, Processing and Representation tools
• AutoCAD (Optional)
• Python (Optional)
• Aspen (Optional)

Languages :

• English: level C1
• French: level C1

TotalEnergies Research Center in Qatar is looking for a VIE to be responsible for the coordination of R&D projects in the field of Sustainable Development (Environment and Carbon Footprint Reduction) linked to the TotalEnergies activities in Qatar. As a Sustainable Development Engineer, your main tasks will be as follows:

• Follow-up on the R&D collaborations with academic and industrial partners (local and international);
• Propose new projects in the field of Environmental and CFR R&D linked to the company ambition and Qatar National Vision 2030;
• Organise and carry our offshore missions for Marine Biodiversity monitoring;
• Support technically the ongoing R&D Pilots;
• Strong links with the R&D and Customer lines Programs from France as well as with industrial entities in Qatar;
• Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary and international environment.

Context & Environment The selected candidate will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France rates. The affiliate will provide a FLATSHARE accommodation.
