Join our Services_EMEA team withinServices division in Qatar as Field Service Engineer (compressors) tohelp us take Services Middle East to the next level. 

SulzerMiddle East is looking for a field service engineer, with strongexperience of centrifugal compressors responsible for the overhaul,repair, installation & commissioning of rotating equipment to supportour clients based in Qatar.

The Main responsibilitiesentails:

• Provision of safe and effective site andworkshop overhaul, repair, installation and commissioning services forall rotating equipment
• Be the first point of contact forallocated customers in respect of any issues relating to agreedon-site scopes of work
• Develop strong relationships withkey client contacts
• Be responsible for on-site Health &Safety
• Compile on-site Risk Assessments for scopes ofwork.
• Lead and supervise on-site repair teams during sitecontract execution.
• Provide continuous improvement inrepair, installation and commissioning activities
• Developand maintain good and effective relationships with clients to optimisefurther service opportunities
• Liaise with technicaldepartments within Sulzer to develop engineering solutions
• Manage relevant suppliers and subcontractors
• Compilationof comprehensive site reports in line with company quality managementsystem
• Participate and actively support companyinitiatives

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Engineering technical qualification
• 10 years’ experience of installation and commissioning activityrelated to centrifugal compressors  and other rotating equipment
• Experience of assembly, operation and testing ofcompressors and other rotating equipment
• General computerskills (MS office)
• Experience working in the Middle East
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings anddata.
