Job Description - Operations Manager

This is a full-time role and may be required to manage operations which are running throughout the clock. Must be available for emergencies outside of normal working hours.

Flexible working hours can be assigned to support the business round the clock.

You shall be based at a large single site or at a branch or be responsible for a number of locations and sites within a designated area.

Brief responsibilities include:

  • To Manage your area/areas of responsibility as per the assigned sites and locations
  • To provide necessary support for the deployment, un-deployment, absence management, discipline and grievance, and other relevant activities along with the support departments.
  • Assigning and setting out goals and objectives for your team within your reporting line, including the supervisory roles as well as coordination roles within the structure.
  • Support to manage the contractual budgets as accepted and strive to obtain the financial targets.
  • Making sure to deliver the operational excellence by catering to the customers’ satisfaction in line with the contract scope and service level agreement.
  • Prepare manpower capacity plan in coordination with the support departments to ensure sufficient staff availability to work and meet the contracts requirement with respect to training, licensing and scrutiny.
  • Preparing the training plan to meet the customer and contract requirement.
  • In coordination with the support departments, work to develop and maintain a healthy customer relationship and timely responding to the issues, requests and concerns.
  • Managing the health and safety with the support of the HSE staff to make sure the timely and effective response to any incident, conducting investigation and providing feedback to the customer and the company.
  • Preparing weekly rota for the security personnel and making sure of daily availability of the security personnel at the sites by preparing and submitting the daily attendance report from all sites.
  • Paying scheduled and unscheduled visits to the site to monitor the security personnel and submitting daily report.
  • Submit frequential reports pertaining to the security operations involving supervisors’ daily performance, visits, incidents, deployment, client meeting, site visits as well as bi-weekly performance reports.
  • Prepare and submit site evaluations and risk assessment reports as well as timely completing the monthly invoicing schedules.
  • To be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and to act in line with the company values and conduct.
  • Maintain employees’ satisfaction by maintaining employee engagement by personally interacting with the team and providing coaching and guidance as per the duties and responsibilities.

We are seeking someone with:-

· Proven experience of working in a similar role in the Security Company.

· Graduate with security license, Security management training, SIA etc.

  • Bilingual Arabic/English with excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Effective dispute resolution skill
  • Excellent customer service skills and organisational skills
  • Planning skills along with relationship management
  • Possessing Highly agile and Ability to manage a team successfully
  • Computer literate with hands on skills in MS Office Suite, ERP etc.
