The Qatar Foundation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Support Manager to join our team in Doha. As a mid-to-senior level position, the Support Manager will be responsible for overseeing a variety of support functions within the organization to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage and supervise a team of support staff, including administrative assistants, receptionists, and facility maintenance personnel. 2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline support services and maximize efficiency. 3. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration in support operations. 4. Oversee budgeting and financial planning for support services, ensuring cost-effective practices. 5. Evaluate and track key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of support functions and make recommendations for improvement. 6. Provide leadership and guidance to support staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. 7. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. 8. Conduct regular performance evaluations and training programs for support staff to enhance skills and productivity. 9. Collaborate with HR and other departments to recruit and onboard new support staff as needed. 10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in support management to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a support management role. 3. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. 4. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. 5. Resilient and passionate about delivering high-quality support services. 6. Proven track record in strategic planning and decision-making. 7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 8. Experience in project management and process improvement. 9. Knowledge of relevant software applications and tools. 10. Demonstrated commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.
