Responsibilities
• Checking reservations for compliance and maintaining reservation quality • Planning and organizing daily operations • Spot-checking reservations and checking VIP arrivals • Understanding and working within seasonal and historical trends • Identifying and responding to sales opportunities • Producing written confirmations for clients • Monitoring and resolving customer satisfaction issues • Keeping the department informed of changes • Maintaining knowledge of IHG Hotels in the region • Preparing and executing action plans for reservation sales • Recording and processing reservations • Managing "no-show" reservations • Recording special billing arrangements • Liaising with Front Office Manager or Finance department • Monitoring reservation levels and informing Manager of occupancy rates • Preparing reservation-related reports • Conducting shift briefings in the absence of the Manager
Requirements
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a 5-star hotel • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities • Good knowledge in dealing with computers and computer programs • Ability to work independently or in teams • Positive attitude and flexibility
