We are looking to appoint a Physical Education Teacher who has the ability to apply a range of teaching strategies to inspire, motivate and encourage our children to want to learn.

Please note that we are looking for an August 2024 start date, but prepared to be flexible for the right candidate.

This is a one year fixed term appointment for one Academic year 2024 - 2025.

About you

As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a full range of Physical Education activities across Primary and/or Secondary schools, including swimming, games, athletic activities, fundamental movement skills, gymnastics and dance. Candidates should have the ability to ensure PE lessons are enjoyable and meaningful for all pupils, developing confidence, competence and creativity and an awareness of the importance of an active, healthy lifestyle for wellbeing. Candidates must have qualified teacher status, with a specialism in Physical Education. Additionally, a recognised swimming teaching and pool safety qualification (ASA, STA or equivalent), and experience leading swimming lessons, from learn to swim to competitive swimming at a Secondary level is essential.
