Job Summary
The Technician helps to improve safety and overall equipment effectiveness by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through the maintenance, installation, and control of all equipment and systems onsite. The incumbent ensures that services are safely provided in the correct amount of time, at the right cost, and at a high level of precision
Job Responsibilities 1 Principal Accountabilities
- Conducts periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
- Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials
- Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
Job Responsibilities 2- Performs duties as necessary to ensure operational efficiency of all facilities and maintenance systems to minimize the occurrence of down time
- Performs a wide variety of general and preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, operation and testing of equipment and addressing customer/organization related needs.
- Assists in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
- Establishes and maintains cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments
- Reports mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for action
- Annotates and updates work logs for specific outlets requirements
- Maintains clean, safe, and orderly work sites.
- Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
Additional Responsibilities 3 Job Knowledge & Skills • Knowledge of standard practices and tools used in facility maintenance
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to the building trades
• In depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Applicable knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
•
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
