Reporting to the Executive Chair - Surgery, The Division Chief provides clinical, educational, research and executive management l leadership for Pediatric Ophthalmology. He or She will be a clinical and managerial leader working with the Surgery executive team to develop and deliver strategy and business plans and be accountable for resources and performance in providing ophthalmologic surgery for children. In conjunction with cross-disciplinary teams, the Division chief will integrate research and education priorities into a program of excellent clinical service delivery. The Hematopathology Principal Clinical Scientist is responsible, as part of the team, for the delivery of a high quality evidence-based laboratory service. The Hematopathology Principal Clinical Scientist reviews laboratory tests and test results, consults with pathologists regarding appropriate tests, and has input into diagnostic testing and approaches. The postholder will have specialist knowledge in Hematology, and/or Immunology, and/or Transfusion. Experience is essential in the Hematopathology Division, with a focus on assay validation, assay development and implementation, and quality oversight. The Registered Dietitian II is responsible for providing safe and effective clinical nutrition and dietetic care to Women and Children within Sidra Medicine. The incumbent works closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide patient care that is integrated and compatible with the patient-focused medical goals and objectives. Primary responsibilities include application of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) including completion of the nutrition assessment, determination of the nutrition diagnosis, developing and implementing nutrition intervention(s), and monitoring and evaluating of the patient’s progress. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective direct care. The Clinical Nurse assesses care needs, plans, implements and evaluates programs of care to include patients and families. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard, aligned to Sidra Standards of Practice. Ideal candidate to have ENT and Airway experience. The Clinical Nurse Leader demonstrates clinical expertise, strong leadership and collaborative skills in interactions with staff and members of the healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse Leader supports the Clinical Nurse Manager in leading, precepting and mentoring the nursing and midwifery staff as clinical expert in a unit/service. Ideal candidate needs to have minimum 5 years of leadership experience as Floor coordinator in OR. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective direct care. The Clinical Nurse assesses care needs, plans, implements and evaluates programs of care to include patients and families. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard, aligned to Sidra Standards of Practice. The Clinical Nurse participates in the supervision, orientation and training of staff and is responsible for education of patients, families and students. The Clinical Nurse is professionally accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer. The Clinical Nurse - Vascular Management Team (VMT) is responsible for competently providing safe and effective care to Children, with minimal supervision by the Clinical Nurse Leader, provides specialist support and best practice advice for nurses, healthcare professionals, patients and families in relation to vascular access and management. The Clinical Nurse - Vascular Management Team (VMT) assesses care needs, plans, and implements and evaluates programs of care, and creates and maintains a safe therapeutic clinical environment for all patients who receive intravenous support therapy. The Clinical Nurse - Vascular Management Team (VMT) ensures children get an appropriate vascular device, educates professionals on vein selection and ensures knowledge on escalation processes for difficult access. The Psychologist – Child and Adolescent (Doctoral) is responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents (C&A) patients. You will be responsible for evaluating complex psychological data and formulating a formal psychological treatment plan for the patients. Also responsible for providing specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals. You must be currently licensed in your Country of Origin as a Psychologist to be eligible for Licensing in Qatar. You should have had 5+ years’ experience as a practicing Clinical Psychologist, including 2+ working in children’s / young person’s psychology. Fluency in Written and Spoken Arabic is highly preferred. The Project Manager provides overall project leadership, management and oversight and manages projects through the entire lifecycle and ensures they are closed on time, within budget, and meet the projects’ objectives. The Investigator is mainly responsible for developing and implementing translational computational research programs for unravelling the complex relationship between the human genome, biological traits and diseases, focusing on Qatar and the MENA region, ultimately leading to novel therapeutic targets and approaches. Focus on building knowledge bases for nationwide interest involving high throughput omic data and reference datasets and panels enabling integrative data mining and complex investigation of a wide spectrum of biological and clinical research questions ranging from complex diseases such as cancer and autoimmune to rare diseases. The Post Doctoral Fellow, as part of the program team, engages in collaborative scientific work with other colleagues to deliver specific research tasks. The Postdoctoral Fellow may also prepare status reports on program process. The Clinical Midwife is responsible for competently providing safe and effective care to Women during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and their newborn babies in the postpartum period with minimal supervision by the Clinical Nurse Leader/Clinical Midwife Leader The Clinical Midwife assesses care needs, plans, implements and evaluates programs of care. The Clinical Midwife is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard, aligned to Sidra Standards of Practice. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective direct care. The Clinical Nurse assesses care needs, plans, implements and evaluates programs of care to include patients and families.
