Job Description - HR Transformation Program Partner

About the Role



Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our transformation journey as HR Transformation Program Partner.This role will be responsible to manage HR transformation program and deliver strategically relevant and impactful digital experience at scale to ensure timely implementation and completion for the ERP transformation project. Through operating across the group, responsible to partner with stakeholders at all levels to help overcome HR technology challenges and drive high levels of customer satisfaction by helping to understand technological concepts and facilitating collaboration on effective solutions underpinned by people-centric design. Execute the overall HR strategy into different functions of HR to support operational and process innovation. Successfully deliver ERP transformation project for assigned module(s) and ensure smooth transition towards digital and touchless HR operations and services.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Develop and execute processes and procedural improvements within assigned module with focus on agility, innovation and best industry practices while liaising with technology provider and internal users.

  • Foster culture of innovation within HR function, leveraging emerging technologies, best practices and creative solutions to transform processes and delivery value.

  • Own ERP transformation program from HR perspective ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, design principles and organisational priorities.

  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including HR leadership and cross-functional departments.

  • Lead change management efforts to ensure effective communication, stakeholder engagement, new ways of working within HR and across the organisation.

  • Execute and drive HR transformation strategy defined by the Management and lead the implementation of transformation program by focusing on seamless & consistent execution of initiatives aligned to HR Strategy.

  • Ensure to implement comprehensive roadmap and program plan, objectives, timelines and budget for timely completion of project.

  • Manage HR Transformation program involving strategy, implementation and optimization of the relevant HR function by partnering with technical and functional users.

  • Effectively engage with both internal (QR users) and external (technology provider) customers to quickly understand business requirements and ensure efficient and workable solutions.

  • Facilitate go-to-market activities for solutions and act as the point of contact on relevant module between technology provider and users through advisory engagement.

  • Work with functional teams to address complex issues and ensure to deliver full cycle transformation project.

  • Proactively manage stakeholders, including delivering project updates and managing project issues, up to Senior Management and create value for the users by demonstrating leadership, bringing new insights and delivering service excellence.

  • Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization and process streamlining across the relevant business operations.

  • Serve as SME for the relevant ERP Solution, understand current state, collaborate with internal users to define the future state and contribute to define the implementation approach to achieve the project goals.

  • Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, tracking of milestones, flagging risks, mitigation action, business case tracking and capacity overview etc. for specific module(s).

  • Promote collaboration, empowerment & professional growth to build high performing & resilient HR function.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, standards, policies and maintaining integrity in operations.

  • Contribute to development & execution of strategic plans, projects and aligning HR efforts with priorities.

  • Lead data management activities including cleaning, standardizing, governing and migrating to new system.

  • Lead training and change management activities for HR ensuring smooth transition to new ways of working.

  • Work with Head of HR Architecture and Digital Transformation and Functional Champion for ERP in project planning, risks identification and mitigation in relevant modules.

  • Advise and provide recommendations to relevant stakeholders on designing best practices.

  • Continuously explore and identify innovative solutions to continuously improve.

  • Ensure full compliance to design principles and data governance.

  • Actively participate in major technology initiatives ensuring cross functional collaboration.

Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our HR Team who can recognize themselves in the points below.




  • Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience

  • A degree with HR qualifications preferred.

  • 5+ years of ERP Implementation experience (Oracle/SAP) in medium or large enterprise

  • 5+ years of working and implementation experience with one or more of the following areas:

    • Core HR

    • Time & Attendance

    • Payroll

    • Talent Acquisition

    • Talent Management

    • Performance Management

    • Compensation & Benefits

    • Global Processes and Service Delivery

    • Data Quality, Governance & Reporting



  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or related field

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional process improvement projects

  • Professional Certifications in Oracle and/or SAP ERP systems would be an advantage

  • Experience with Global Implementations is a plus

  • Preference would be given for relevant SAP S4 Hana/Oracle Fusion Project Execution/management experience

  • Demonstrated experience with Project Management preferred

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma would be an advantage

  • Should have excellent English written and verbal communication skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in process mapping and process flow analysis tools are required

  • Should be able to lead and influence design/functional meetings toward an effective and collaborative outcome

  • Ability to deliver and get results while managing to a project plan is essential

  • Knowledge of Oracle and SAP is essential
