Legal Counsel - Manufacturing

Our client is an internationally recognised manufacturer with a global presence related to aviation and maritime sectors. Our client collaborates with international and local partners by developing cutting-edge technologies, supporting various initiatives to promote innovation and growth across the Gulf.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our client's team, based in Doha, where you will provide support to the Senior Legal Counsel in order to provide proactive and timely legal solutions that enhance and protect the business and support market growth in Qatar and the wider region. Key responsibilities will include a focus on commercial contracts (supply agreements) as well as construction, procurement, and project development, particularly related to the aviation sector. Additional sought-after expertise includes an understanding of regulatory risk, and the maintenance of high standards of governance and compliance with relation to anti-bribery/corruption.

Applicants will ideally have gained a minimum of 3 years' legal experience working for international law firms or in-house legal teams including some experience in a similar sector. Applicants must be legally qualified either from UK, Australia, Canada or New Zealand. Those with prior experience of working in the GCC would be attractive, but that is not essential.

Location: Doha, Qatar.

Remuneration: £130,000- £155,000 (tax free) + bonus & benefits.
