Whatyou will be working on

The Mission:

As an Automation Software Designeryou will contribute to designs of a pneumatic robot which is lightweight 12kg down from 80 kg - it is re-shaping the future ofindustrial communication technology. This product is used in a widevariety of industries and machines such as robots, packaging,assembly, testing, and process machines. Your role willinclude:

Working in aninterdisciplinary, international and agile product team, creatingtest specifications and communication analysis for automationsystems (PLC controller, bus interface, input/output modules withdifferent Industrial Ethernet protocols) and test benches underconsideration of international and internal Festo testingstandards.

Designing, developmentand maintenance of test strategies, test environment and testsetups for Fieldbus communication protocols (CC-Link, EtherCat,EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).

Analyzingthe collected test results and preparing testprotocol.

Maintaining andoptimizing existing testmethodologies.

Developingtechnical research and feasibility studies and new testsolutions.

Working ininternational agileenvironment.

Whatyou offer us

Master s or Bachelors degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Automationetc.

Knowledge in electronicsmeasurement equipment, electrical measurements and communicationmonitoring and logging (e.g., Wireshark, Jenkins).

Programming skillsets in some ofthe areas of C#/.NET, Python, NITestStand.

Experience withFieldbus protocols such as CC-Link, EtherCAT, PROFINET orEtherNet/IP.

Previous experiencein FuSa - Functional Safety.

Ability to learn fast, make decision and take responsibility forthe results in dynamic and changingenvironment.

Flexible, adaptable,open to meet the change.

You area team player, able to work in a multicultural workingenvironment.

You are focused onthe added value for the internal and/or externalclients.
