Role Overview
The Wholesale Automotive Parts Sales Manager oversees the sales and distribution of automotive parts to wholesale customers. They play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal dealership customers. This position requires a combination of sales expertise, leadership, and automotive industry knowledge
Role Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Analyze sales data, expenses, and inventory to maintain profit goals.
- Develop and administer an aggressive wholesale parts program to maximize profits.
- Ensure the same high-quality service provided to external customers is also extended to internal dealership customers.
Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of 5 Parts Sales Consultants to meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
- Train, motivate, and develop the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Performance Metrics:
- Set annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit.
- Monitor salesperson productivity and performance.
D emand Analysis
- Understanding the market potential and forecasting product(parts) demand and the required stock inventory to satisfy customer needs and maximize profit
Knowledge, Skills and Capability
- 5 + years of sales management within the automotive industry
- Extensive knowledge of Heavy Equipment Parts Sales (specifically with Sany/UD/Isuzu/Bobcat/Palfinger products)
- Knowledge of the local (Qatar) market and Gulf region in respect to HE Sales (Desirable)
- Knowledge and experience of using Salesforce.
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor relationship management
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics to assist customers in identifying correct parts.
Education:Bachelor’s degree, Higher Diploma, or relevant customer facing/sales qualification
