Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

Operation

Conduct daily briefings with staff at floor level. Manage and supervise all tasks of his/her teamEnsure cleanliness of guest rooms, guest room balconies, guest corridors, linen rooms and housekeeping pantries according to standards and procedures setSupervise public areasReplenish guest supplies and ensure that guests' requests are promptly attended toAttend to reports on damage or malfunction in hotel roomsMaintain equipment in a proper state of cleanlinessMaintain a section floor reportConduct regular room checklistsReport unusual behavior/activities on floors to the Executive HousekeeperRecord room status in the allocated section accuratelyAssist the Executive Housekeeper in assessing team members’ attendance and performance

Other Responsibilities

Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresAttend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by managementMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by ManagementEstablish and maintain effective employee working relationships

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an asset

Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming

Excellent organizational skills and time management
