JobSummary:
Human Resources Generalist isresponsible for performing HRrelated duties on a professional leveland working closely with senior HR & the top management insupporting designated geographic regions.
HRGeneralist is responsible for recruitment/employment benefitsadministration employee relations training performance managementonboarding policy implementation affirmative action and employmentlaw compliance .He should also implement a variety of humanresource functions & programs in the organization. His goalis to ensure that the daytoday management of HR operations will berunning smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to theorganization as a whole. Employee welfare safety wellness andcounselling are an important areas of work for the Human ResourcesGeneralist.
Duties &Responsibilities (include but not limitedto):
Be responsible for the overalltalent acquisition and recruitment processes.
Organize and manage new employee orientation onboarding Inductionand training programs.
Administer compensationand benefit plans.
Prepare salary data on amonthly basis for accounts to process thesalary.
Maintain various HR related data inregards to Employees overall details.
Take careof personal and professional development of the organizationspersonnel which involves employee orientation development andtraining.
Provide support to employees invarious HR related topics such as leaves compensation etc. andresolve issues and problems.
Implement policydocuments and handbooks that can be referred to byemployees.
Administer various human resourceplans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in thedevelopment and implementation of personnel policies andprocedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and thepolicies and procedures manual.
Promote HRprograms to create an efficient and conflictfreeworkplace.
Undertake tasks in performancemanagement & working closely with senior management withinthe organization for the same.
Take care of thePerformance Management system right from designing Job descriptionsto setting KPIs.
Gather and analyze data withuseful HR metrics.
Participate in developingdepartment goals objectives and systems.
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper formadministering compensation and benefit plans.
Develop compensation and benefits systems that fit the companys HRresponsibilities.
Deal with employees at all thelevel.
Handle employee complaints grievances anddisputes
Conduct various Employee engagementactivities.
Take care of reward &recognition activity in the company.
Administeremployee discipline processes.
Conduct exitinterviews.
Review and update employee rules andregulations.
Maintain the human resourceinformation system and employee database.
Maintain company organization charts and the employeedirectory.
Assist in evaluation of reportsdecisions and results of department in relation to establishedgoals.
Recommends new approaches policies andprocedures to continually improve efficiency of the department andservices performed.
Education &Experience:
University degree HRDiploma is an asset.
3 to 5 years ofexperience
RequiredSkills:
Proven experience as HRGeneralist.
Understanding of general humanresources policies and procedures.
Understandingof HR best practices and current regulations.
Organized and efficient in daily tasks
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office HRIS systemsetc.
Excellent communication and peopleskills.
Aptitude inproblemsolving.
Ability to maintain a high levelof confidentiality.
Teamplayer.
*Additional HR training will be aplus.
