Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain standards of nursing practice. Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs. Provide ongoing education and professional development opportunities to nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge. Develop and manage the nursing department budget, allocating resources effectively to optimize patient care outcomes while controlling costs. Monitor and analyze financial performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed. Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and organizational policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, administrators, and allied health staff, to coordinate patient care delivery and achieve organizational goals.
