To apply paint, stain and other finishes forproperty walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns,or rollers. Additionally, to clean up, store paint and paintingtools and equipment in appropriate areas. And follow policies andprocedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment,and machines.
Specific Job Knowledge,Skill and Ability
The individualmust possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and beable to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform theessential functions of the job, with or without reasonableaccommodation.
Able to applypaint, stain, varnish, enamel etc. to property walls, ceilings, andfurniture.
Able toeffectively use brushes, spray guns, orrollers.
Responsiblefor maintaining property colour schemespecifications.
Responsiblefor maintaining and match shades of particularareas.
Apply primers orsealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, forfinish coats.
Remove oldfinishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or usingwater and/or abrasiveblasting.
Cover surfaceswith appropriate material for protection during painting and postsappropriate paintsigns.
Clean up and storepaint and painting tools and equipment in appropriateareas.
Take care of the areawhen the front of the house area-painting job is being carriedout.
Always place the‘Men at work’ signboard when working in publicarea or guest rooms.
Takerounds of the restaurant and other public areas respective incharge and perform paint/polishmark.
Complete appropriatesafety training and certifications to perform worktasks.
Report work relatedaccidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence tosupervisor.
Any other job orduties assigned by the management as and whenrequired.
Perform otherduties as assigned by thesupervisor.
Follow hazardousMaterial management program procedures for handling and disposingof chemicals etc. using material safety datasheets.
Identify and correctunsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to Shift incharge.
Follow policies andprocedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment,and machines.
Completeappropriate Fire and safety trainings and certifications to performwork tasks.
Emergencies– To be available for any emergencies and act in aprofessional manner to protect our Guests, Staffs and preserve theHotel Property and its system. Follow Hotel Emergencyplan.
To complete thepersonal daily job record, time book accurately, and keep ready forinspection
Ensure uniformand personal appearances are clean and professional maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information and protect companyassets
