What will you do - Main responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated, full-time, Physics Teacher. This is primarily an applied position for a Physics Teacher with a background in working with student-athletes. The candidate must be able to provide education, assessments, evaluation, and intervention strategies to the student-athletes.

An ability to contribute to the development of a high-performance culture is also required. All candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physics/Science or related subjects. A master's degree and/or Ph.D. from an accredited University if preferable.

Here are the Main Responsibilities of a Physics Teacher:

Planning and delivering lessons to studentsAssessing, recording, and reporting on student performanceMaintaining accurate student recordsDeveloping teaching materials and resourcesEnsuring the safety and well-being of studentsDevelop and monitor Curriculum documents following Aspire curriculum and Supreme Education Council (SEC) guidelinesPrepare and produce course textbooks and materialsLead substitute, backup, and makeup lessons to accommodate student-athlete educational needsAttend and conduct lessons while at team competitions and camps and supervise them.Apply code of conduct (COC) guidelines and procedures to behavior.Conduct placement tests for new students to diagnose their abilitiesCorrect and give feedback to students on assignmentsPrepare report cards for students and meet with parents to discuss students' resultsAssist in the recruiting process and help hire teachers upon delegation from administration or coordinator.Preparation of final exams, answer key, table of specifications, grading, and controlling)Speak before groups of people with poise, voice control, and confidenceAttend and present at international and local workshops, seminars, and meetingsDeliver workshops on professional development for Aspire Academy staff.Advise, consult, and support coaches in executing training activities aligned with psychological performance enhancement measures and how to facilitate basic to advanced self-regulation skills as required.Conduct psychomotor/ psychological testing to inform psychological profiles of student-athletes on Smartabase.Qualifications and requirements:

4-6 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2 years should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry.A degree in Physics or related subjects.Excellent command of the English language and culture.Proficient in teaching methodology.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic, preferableExcellent communication and teaching skillsAbility to plan, prepare, and deliver lessonsKnowledge of Arabic culture and literatureKnowledge of teaching methods and assessmentIdentifying Student's Educational NeedsFamiliarity with current educational technologyIntermediate/Advanced knowledge of MS Office and other sports-specific computer programs (e.g., SmartaBase).Culture-sensitive and excellent in interpersonal communications
