VAC9397 - Senior Manager, Digital HR & Analytics Field: Human Resources Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent Location: Qatar - Doha Closing date: 30-Jun-2024 Context:

As part its transformation the Ooredoo Group has redefined its priorities central to which is the evolution and implementation of Ooredoo Group’s Operating Model, enabling transition from a collection of operating companies (OpCos) to an integrated Group supported and enabled by a focused, high performance core.

Provide support to GCHRSO and OG HR team with digital HR & Analytics. This primarily will be through utilizing digital technology & analytics to streamline and automate human resources functions, to include the complete HR lifecycle and encapsulate activities from recruiting and onboarding to performance management and employee engagement. 

Role Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for developing and implementing digital HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives and drive digital transformation in HR practices

  • Implementation and management of HR systems and platforms, such as applicant tracking systems, learning management systems, and employee self-service portals.

  • Identification and implementation of automation opportunities within HR processes, such as onboarding, performance management, and payroll processing.

  • Ensures the accuracy and integrity of HR data, including employee records, performance metrics, and other HR- related data.

  • Oversees all digital HR projects from conception to implementation, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.

  • Collaborates with other departments, such as IT, marketing, and operations, to ensure that digital HR strategies align with overall business objectives.

  • Devising & implementing a data eco- system that enables

    • Insights into workforce trends, identifies areas of improvement, and help organisations make data- driven decisions to optimise their human capital management.

    • Measuring of the impact of HR initiatives, such as employee retention programs, diversity and inclusion efforts, and training and development programs.

    • Analysing of employee turnover rates, predicting future workforce needs, identifying skills gaps and training needs, measuring employee engagement and job satisfaction, and assessing the effectiveness of recruitment and selection processes.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years in HR out of which 3 plus years in a group set up at HQ at senior management level preferably in a major telecommunication company.

  • Good understanding of telecom industry challenges.

  • Functional knowledge of all HR areas and ability to provide strategic direction to the Group and OPCOs HR.

  • Solid experience in Digital and analytics

  • Experience of managing internal and external senior stakeholders. 

  • Solid experience in leading and communicating change in an international scope.

  • Proven project management experience in a complex environment. 

  • High-level of collaboration skills, interpersonal skills and ability to navigate the way. 

  • High result and performance orientation. 

  • Understanding of cultural dynamics in Ooredoo markets would be a plus.
