DNV Maritime Area Middle East & Africa is looking for a Senior Surveyor with approximately 5-10 years’ experience from the offshore or marine industry to join our team of surveyors in Doha, Qatar . As a DNV Senior Surveyor, you will mainly carry out surveys onboard mobile offshore units as well as ships in operation at shipyards and offshore locations. Travel and offshore work should be expected as well as attending vessels in nearby countries (GCC). The position offers the candidate a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing team in a transforming country with numerous exciting opportunities in the conventional offshore business and ocean space projects, including renewables and offshore tourism. Position Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering from a Technical University Approximately 5-10 years of offshore and/or marine industry experience ideally as a surveyor in a classification society. Strong interpersonal skills. Self-driven and highly engaged professional. Quick learner and data-smart. Open-minded and curious. Caring for your colleagues and our customers.
