As a Service Delivery Dutymanager you will be responsible for handling an Operations shiftindependently and able to control the department activities as awhole. Manage all operational aspects of service deliverydepartment during the shift and ensure that products and servicesfor flights and nonflights orders (Lounges Crew training etc.) aredelivered to agreed standards within the budget and in line withthe hygiene procedures.
To achievesuccess in this role you will needto:
  • Implement managementinstructions including customer service aircraft delivery andhandling food safety HACCP quality control and health andsafety.
  • Implementation of full ramp safetyprogram and the compliance of the department with all documentsthat should be used during training andmonitoring.
  • Suggests operations solutions byanalysing systems and procedures that are currently in place andproposing alterations to current procedures to increase efficiency.Create new solutions for concerns that do not have setprocedures.
  • Maintain high quality of serviceduring the shift.
  • Meet with the airlinerepresentatives in relation to aircraft uplifts staff movements andreasonable ad hoc requests.
  • Reports allnonconformances investigates and implements corrective actions tothe Senior Management.
  • Responsible forimplementing security instrcutions safe working practices andprocedures in accordance with QRpolicies.
  • Ensure ontime performance andeffectiveness of the departments through defined procedurescontrols and personnel management.
  • Investigateconclude and report incident (s) accident (s) and flightdelays.
  • Conduct spotchecks internallyandexternally in order to ensure that operations are carried on asper the airline standards on schedule.
  • Managethe maintenance of QACC Transport Fleet by Coordinating with QASmaintenance and other service providers regarding the maintenanceschedule and reporting any maintenance discrepancies during theday.

Qualifications
You should have at leastRelevant College or University Qualification to min Bachelors Levelwith minimum 5 years of jobrelated experience preferably withinAirline / Volume Catering Unit.
It ispreferred if you have had experience in a medium/large flightcatering unit leading a team of Operations staff in the position ofDuty Manager/Officer.
Essential
  • Specialisedknowledge of Catering operations androistering/scheduling
  • Ability to manage theworking hours and ensure productivity of manpowereffectively
  • Ability to perform under high workpressure
  • Good command over Englishlanguage
  • Effective communication/presentationskills
  • Managerial skills Ability to delegatework set clear direction and manageworkflow
